Enrolment at an MEC-recognised institution; the status is temporary and gives no PR
Study in Brazil on an RF passport: admission to a MEC-recognised institution; for study over 90 days — consular VITEM IV (Moscow, RUB 11,000, ≥10 business days), then Federal Police registration / CRNM. Visa-free covers only short stays. Public universities often charge no tuition to foreigners; the barrier is Portuguese and selection. PEC-G/PEC-PG: RF is not yet on the participant list (negotiations). Student status is temporary and does not itself open indefinite residence/naturalisation. Migration law does not require renouncing the RF passport.
